The sisters behind Quicky
We're Reem & Shibani, two sisters who moved from Mumbai to London and couldn't find a single meal that was quick, easy AND actually good. So our mum made us some.
Two sisters, total opposites
People confuse us for twins, but we couldn't be more different. Shibani's the organised, list-loving, spreadsheet one. Reem's the wildly creative one who finally quit corporate life.
The one thing we both agree on? Nothing hits like a proper home-cooked meal.
From Mumbai to London
Moving away from home is never easy. And between busy jobs in a new city, eating well became a nightmare.
Deciding what to eat, buying ingredients that expired, meal kits that still took 30 minutes plus an hour of washing up. Nothing was quick, easy or convenient.
So we troubled our mum
She came to the rescue. Mum started cooking her delicious homemade food and freeze-drying it, so we could enjoy it anytime.
Freeze-drying locks in all the flavour and goodness, keeps food light and long-lasting, and free from preservatives.
Our little secret, until it wasn't
For two years these meals were our little secret. Then our friends tried them and couldn't believe it was real food.
After enough requests (and a little persuasion), we took the plunge and created Quicky. Proper food, made easy.
